The great thing about Spotify going mobile? – sounds like there will be the ability not only to listen to tracks when you’re online, but also when you’re offline. Check the video out for a preview of what’s to come in the near future…surely this will come out for iPhone and Symbian platforms as well.

Thanks to my main main @juuuso for the heads up.

Pretty cool new service that lets you stream free music by searching for any artist. It then finds videos from Youtube associated with the track your listening to and adds the ability through Facebook connect to share songs, videos and playlists with your friends. It’s pretty straightforward and easy to use, I wonder if this will takeoff? There are plenty of free streaming music services, but this puts an interesting twist on things.

See the video below for a much better explanation of what the service does or just visit dropplay.com to try it out yourself

UPDATE: this is f*&^%$* amazing…really simple and brings everything together really nicely. Great job.

So what did Crispin do for all of their hard working employees for Christmas? While most agencies were either cutting back on costs or having their usual blowout xmas cheer parties disappear, CP+B decided to surprise the agency with 900 acoustic guitars for every single employee – pretty great isn’t it. Not only that, they actually created a site which hosts a few crispin CD’s and others demonstrating their guitar picking skills for everyone to learn from. What’s pretty cool about the site is that it’s pretty useful, there are tabs attached to some of the videos, a useful tool to find out how to play all the chords and the ability to save the videos and create your own profile (didn’t get that far, but from first glance this is what it seems). There’s also a youtube channel which has been filtered to showcase all the other great tutorials from the masters themselves such as Marty Friedman. Check out Andrew Keller’s Shredding 101 lesson for some good licks.

check out the site
