Picture a wall of every single app available that lights up each and every app gets downloaded. Pretty slick digital wall at the Moscone center for the WWDC.
I like Spotify, it’s simple to use, has a decent amount of labels that have signed up and thus has a pretty decent library of tracks. The great thing about Spotify going mobile? – sounds like there will be the ability not only to listen to tracks when you’re online, but also when you’re offline. Check the video out for a preview of what’s to come in the near future…surely this will come out for iPhone and Symbian platforms as well.
IDEO’s Toy Labs have come up with a pretty cool app which uses the mic and accelerometer/shake in an interesting way. Also check out their blog for other apps in the future. Key thing to take away…simple, simple, simple.
What was that campaign for the condoms with the balloon animals again? Durex? Shame they didn’t come up with something like this.
Interesting ignition functionality from Chrysler letting you dock your iPod or iPhone start the engine. This is just the beginnings of mobile device and car integration, if you think of when you leave the house, there are only a few things you check before you leave the door – your wallet, your keys and your phone. It’s only a matter of time until your mobile device will be able to open/lock your doors, start and turn off your engine, check your fuel meter from your device and fine the nearest gas station etc.
Stay tuned this tuesday, March 17th as Apple will be showcasing the new OS 3.o for the iPhone for a select few. Video recording? New homescreen that shows a few emails and calendar entries? MMS?
